Dental Assistant – Full‑time at Griffith University

About the role

Griffith Health Clinics are seeking a Dental Assistant to support students and staff in delivering high‑quality patient care within a dynamic, inter‑professional environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist staff and students across a broad range of dental treatments and procedures.
• Maintain clinic cleanliness and hygiene, including equipment preparation for sterilisation.
• Support smooth clinic operations under the direction of the Dental Assistant Team Leader.
• Provide administrative and reception support as required.

Required profile

• Australian Dental Assistant qualification or recognised equivalent.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification from a recognised provider.
• Current Queensland Blue Card (or willingness to obtain).
• Excellent teamwork, communication and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Dental equipment handling and sterilisation procedures.
• Administrative and reception duties in a clinical setting.

• Full‑time permanent position with shift flexibility (7:30‑15:30, 9:00‑17:00, 11:30‑19:30).
• Salary range HEW Level 4: $76,126‑$80,321 per annum plus 17% superannuation.
