Demi Chef – Luxury Hotel Kitchen

About the role

The Langham, Gold Coast is seeking an innovative Demi Chef to create memorable dining experiences for guests in a five‑star beachfront hotel.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present high‑quality à la carte dishes to five‑star standards.
• Support Senior Chefs in daily kitchen operations and service delivery.
• Maintain consistency, presentation and flavour across all dishes.
• Adhere to strict food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety standards.
• Work collaboratively within a fast‑paced, professional kitchen environment.

Required profile

• Experience in high‑end volume operations at a luxury hotel or upscale venue.
• Proven ability to work under pressure and meet high performance standards.
• Passion for service excellence and superior hospitality.
• Completed technical education in hospitality or culinary school.
• Australian work rights.

Required skills

• Sound knowledge of current industry trends.
• Creative eye for detail and presentation.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
