Data & AI Governance Analyst

About the role

The Data & AI Governance Analyst will support HammondCare’s data and AI governance framework, ensuring safe, responsible, and effective use of data and AI across the organisation. This fixed‑term position is based in St Leonards with hybrid working options.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct project, system and use‑case assessments to identify data and AI risks and promote best practices.
• Develop and maintain templates and resources for the Data & AI Governance framework.
• Support data classification, privacy and access principles, especially for sensitive care information.
• Assist data owners and business users with governance queries and clarify responsibilities.
• Identify opportunities to simplify and improve governance practices and mature them with organisational capability.

Required profile

• Commitment to HammondCare’s Christian mission and values.
• 3‑5 years experience in AI, data governance, data quality, analytics or data management.
• Understanding of end‑to‑end data flows and lifecycle.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking and clear communication.
• Ability to work with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Required skills

• Knowledge of data privacy, security and responsible AI use.
• Experience with data catalogues, BI tools or analytics platforms (desirable).
