Customer Service Specialist

About the role

A well-established, privately owned business supplying industrial products to clients in the mining, construction and industrial sectors is looking for an experienced Customer Service Officer in Kalgoorlie. The role is a key point of contact for customers, focused on answering calls, managing a shared inbox and following up on delivery times. It is a full-time position working 8am to 4pm or 9am to 5pm.

Key responsibilities

• Answer and manage inbound customer calls professionally and friendily, resolving enquiries quickly and accurately
• Manage the shared customer service inbox, prioritising and acting on emails promptly
• Follow up on order and delivery times, keeping customers informed of order status
• Liaise with the warehouse and purchasing teams to track orders and resolve delivery issues
• Process phone and online sales orders accurately and efficiently
• Maintain and update customer records so information stays accurate and current
• Provide general administrative support as required

Required profile

• Previous experience in a customer service, sales support or administration role
• Ability to handle a high volume of customer calls professionally and friendily
• Strong organisational skills to manage a busy shared inbox and multiple priorities
• Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to follow-up and problem resolution
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Office skills
• NetSuite experience is highly regarded but not essential
