Customer Service Representative – 12‑Month Fixed Term (Haymarket)

About the role

As the public face of CommBank, the Customer Service Representative in the Haymarket branch delivers a seamless banking experience to personal and small‑business customers. This 12‑month fixed‑term position works a set part‑time roster of 32.5 hours per week, providing front‑line support for everyday banking transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Process deposits, withdrawals, bank cheques, transfers and foreign‑exchange transactions.
• Conduct financial health checks and identify appropriate products or services for customers.
• Assist with cash and ATM procedures, ensuring accurate reconciliation.
• Educate customers on in‑branch technology and digital banking options.
• Follow bank processes, risk‑management policies and compliance standards.

Required profile

• Genuine passion for customer service and interest in starting a banking career.
• Strong communication skills and ability to ask the right questions.
• Willingness to work in a busy retail environment while delivering holistic solutions.
• Mandarin or Cantonese language skills are highly desirable.
