Contract Site Manager – Fit-Out Projects

About the role

A busy, well-established commercial builder is looking for a hands-on Site Manager on a contract basis to deliver a fast-paced fit-out project in a live environment. The role suits someone who enjoys seeing projects come to life from start to finish.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site operations so projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers and trades on site.
• Maintain quality and safety standards in line with company policies and procedures.
• Work closely with the Project Manager and the wider team to deliver the project smoothly.
• Keep stakeholders informed clearly and consistently through every stage.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects.
• Strong leadership and organisational skills, with a proactive, problem-solving approach.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple trades and stakeholders.
• Relevant trade qualifications or a construction management background are highly regarded.
