Consultant – Business Advisory

About the role

We are a boutique business consulting firm based in Melbourne’s CBD, seeking a motivated Consultant to join our young, collaborative team. You will work on a variety of strategic engagements, including growth strategy, M&A, capital raising and restructures, helping clients translate complex information into clear, actionable recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver strategic advisory projects across growth, M&A, capital raising and restructuring.
• Prepare concise presentations and reports for directors and senior client stakeholders.
• Support transaction processes, including due‑diligence, financial modelling and client communications.
• Manage work‑streams, own deliverables and ensure timely completion while collaborating with the wider team.

Required profile

• Qualified CPA or CA (or actively working towards qualification).
• Professional services experience in Australia with a commercial advisory focus.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commercial mindset with the ability to advise on complex business issues.
