Community & Stakeholder Advisor

About the role

ACCIONA is seeking a Community & Stakeholder Advisor to be the daily voice of the $5.75 billion Logan and Gold Coast Faster Rail project for residents, businesses and community groups along the corridor. You will work closely with construction teams and the communications function to deliver clear, timely information and resolve stakeholder concerns.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with construction teams to forecast works impacts and plan notifications.
• Prepare works notifications, fact sheets and newsletters for impacted communities.
• Respond to stakeholder enquiries and complaints, resolving issues with project teams.
• Maintain the Open Point stakeholder database and ensure records are accurate.
• Support community information sessions, reference group meetings and other project events.
• Coordinate project progress photography and videography and assist with content post‑production.
• Draft messaging for media enquiries, hot issues and internal corporate updates.
• Monitor community feedback and prepare stakeholder engagement reports.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of community engagement experience, preferably on infrastructure projects.
• Strong written communication skills for notifications, fact sheets and media messaging.
• Calm, professional handling of enquiries and complaints.
• Organised approach to managing competing priorities.

Required skills

• Experience with stakeholder database management, preferably Open Point.
