Community Manager for 55+ Lifestyle Community

About the role

Ingenia is seeking a full‑time Community Manager to lead day‑to‑day operations at its Element by Ingenia Lifestyle site, an elegant over‑55s community near Newcastle. You will be the primary point of contact for residents, ensuring a vibrant, connected living experience.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding resident experiences measured by satisfaction surveys and NPS.
• Oversee community operations, including presentation standards, occupancy, tenancy administration, and resident engagement.
• Manage financial performance through budgeting, planning, and P&L oversight.
• Design and run lifestyle, wellbeing, and connection programmes to foster community spirit.
• Lead, motivate and support team members and contractors to maintain high‑quality outcomes.

Required profile

• Experience managing resident or customer relationships in property, hospitality, aged‑care or community settings.
• Proven ability to lead daily operations while balancing competing priorities.
• Background in budget management and commercial performance.
• Skilled at handling emotionally charged situations with empathy and professionalism.
• Visible, hands‑on leader who enjoys being the go‑to person for residents, teams and stakeholders.
