Senior Project Manager – Retail Tenancy Coordination

About the role

The Senior Project Manager will lead end‑to‑end delivery of retail tenancy projects, acting as the key second‑in‑command within the Tenancy Delivery team. You will balance landlord priorities with retailer expectations to achieve high‑quality, commercially sound outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle of tenancy projects from handover through design, approvals, construction and trading.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects, including new tenancies, refurbishments, relocations and redevelopments.
• Coordinate design submissions, approvals and ensure compliance with centre guidelines, statutory requirements and brand standards.
• Oversee construction and delivery, monitor contractor performance, and ensure WHS compliance.
• Maintain strong documentation, audit trails and drive continuous improvement of tenancy delivery processes.

Required profile

• 5+ years experience in retail tenancy coordination, project management or construction delivery.
• Proven ability to work with landlords, shopping centre operators and retail brands.
• Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills in complex stakeholder environments.
• Leadership experience with the ability to develop and guide a team.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
• Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent).
• Degree in Construction Management, Property, Architecture or related field.
