Commercial Finance Analyst – Pharmacy Business Development & Property

About the role

Wesfarmers Health is seeking a Commercial Finance Analyst to support commercial decision‑making for its growing pharmacy and property network. Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you will turn financial analysis into clear insights and robust business cases.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Pharmacy Business Development and Property & Network Development teams to provide commercial insights for decision‑making.
• Prepare financial models and evaluations for new customer opportunities, store openings, refurbishments, franchise and company store proposals.
• Develop business cases and recommendations to support investment decisions.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning and regular commercial reporting for senior management.
• Analyse pricing, margins and track expenditure against budgets, identifying risks and opportunities.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in FP&A, Commercial Finance or a similar analytical finance role.
• Strong financial modelling and scenario analysis capability, with experience evaluating projects (NPV, ROC) and preparing formal business cases.
• Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance; CPA/CA qualification is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and extensive financial modelling experience.
• Proficiency with ERP and BI tools – experience in SAP, BPC, MicroStrategy and PowerBI.
