Commercial Account Director - Government Portfolio (Hybrid)

About the role

Experian is looking for an accomplished Strategic Account Director to lead its Government portfolio, based in either Sydney or Melbourne. The role drives growth, engagement and revenue through existing government accounts and expands the government footprint, with strategic upselling and identification of new business opportunities. It involves delivering tailored solutions from Experian's offerings such as Decisioning software, Credit Bureau data, Open Banking Solutions and Fraud & ID.

Key responsibilities

• Sales generation: lead and expand relationships with 40+ existing accounts, identify growth opportunities and proactively pursue new business across key federal and state government panels.
• Take the commercial lead in achieving positive bidding outcomes and align Experian's value propositions with client business drivers.
• Maintain and grow the revenue footprint within strategic accounts while championing Experian's values.
• Deliver exceptional client focus, aiming for industry-leading Net Promoter Scores, and act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert helping customers develop key solutions.

Required profile

• 5-10 years selling into government.
• Proven track record managing a government portfolio and a history of complex sales and complex solutions.
• Strong sales methodology, agility and curiosity.
• Team-oriented, with advanced communication, presentation and listening skills, and a consultative, approachable manner.
