Client Onboarding Specialist Analyst

About the role

MUFG is seeking a Client Onboarding Specialist to join its GCIB Middle Office team in Australia. You will drive a seamless onboarding journey for corporate and financial institution clients, working closely with Relationship Managers and Sales teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate end‑to‑end onboarding of corporate and FI clients, coordinating internal resources and resolving issues promptly.
• Communicate onboarding requirements to clients and KYC teams, ensuring expectations are clear and met.
• Maintain compliance with legal and regulatory standards, including FACTA, CRS and OTC regulations.
• Prepare and review client documentation, manage account setup and ensure accurate data capture in systems.
• Gather and share all required documentation, coordinate KYC processes and oversee final registration with middle‑ and back‑office teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of client onboarding experience in banking, serving corporate and financial institution clients.
• Undergraduate degree in Business, Commerce or Law from a leading university.
• Strong knowledge of KYC requirements and regulatory checks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented with strong organisational abilities.
