Claims Consultant - Pet Insurance

About the role

A qualified Veterinary Nurse or veterinary clinic professional can join a front-line team of insurance and veterinary professionals as a Claims Consultant / Claims Assessor. The role supports Australian pet owners during their times of need, helping them navigate the pet insurance claims process and delivering excellent customer service. It is based in Toowong, Brisbane, and offers a Monday to Friday schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a key touchpoint for customers going through the pet insurance claims process.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and ensure pets and their owners have a positive experience.
• Manage claims processing and assessment accurately and efficiently.
• Work within a team of insurance and veterinary professionals to increase the number of insured pets in Australia.
• Keep all customer interactions and claims assessments aligned with the company's integrity and core values.

Required profile

• Experienced Veterinary Nurse or veterinary clinic professional.
• Knowledge of common pet conditions and medications, such as TPLO and IVDD.
• Ability to explain medical information clearly to customers.
• Attention to detail and enjoyment of piecing together medical histories.
• Tech confidence and quick adoption of new systems and software.
• Australian citizenship or permanent residency.
