Chief Executive Officer – Non‑profit Peak Body

About the role

The Australian Institute of Conveyancers NSW Division (AICNSW) is seeking a visionary Chief Executive Officer to lead its peak‑body membership organisation. Reporting directly to the President and working closely with the elected Council, you will shape the strategic direction of the conveyancing profession across New South Wales.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute AICNSW’s strategic plan, aligning with the organisation’s vision for innovation and member engagement.
• Act as the primary advocate and spokesperson for the profession with government, regulators and industry stakeholders.
• Drive membership growth, retention and engagement initiatives.
• Oversee education programmes, webinars, conferences and member events.
• Lead a small internal team (two direct reports) and manage a network of external contractors and service providers.
• Refresh the brand, increase public awareness of conveyancing as a career and support members through upcoming legislative reforms.

Required profile

• Influential executive with a collaborative leadership style and excellent communication skills.
• Proven experience in a membership association, peak body, professional services, legal, property or regulated industry environment.
• Comfortable representing an organisation in boardrooms, government forums and industry panels.
• Demonstrated ability to lead strategic initiatives while delivering hands‑on results.
