Chef – Inflight Catering

About the role

Join the leading inflight meal manufacturer in Australia as a Chef at the Brisbane airport. You will prepare high‑quality hot and cold meals for domestic and international airline customers in a fast‑paced commercial kitchen.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook Economy and Business class meals to airline menu specifications.
• Assist the kitchen team to meet daily production targets according to the Master Production Schedule.
• Minimise food waste, manage stock, and maintain a clean, hygienic workspace.
• Follow all Food Safety, HSE and hygiene policies, including HACCP, IFSA and QSA.

Required profile

• Clear National Police Check.
• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or higher) and at least 3 years commercial chef experience.
• Flexibility to work a 7‑day rotating roster (38 hrs/week) and good English communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, organisational skills and a team‑first mindset.

Required skills

• HACCP food safety standards.
• Ability to follow recipes, specifications and production processes.
