Catering Coordinator - Corporate Hospitality

About the role

An experienced Catering Coordinator is sought to join a professional corporate hospitality team in Melbourne CBD. You will coordinate meeting room catering, support corporate events and deliver service to clients, visitors and internal stakeholders. The position suits someone with a background in corporate hospitality, boardroom catering or premium food and beverage service, offering a stable Monday-to-Friday schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate catering for meetings, boardrooms and corporate events
• Provide professional tea, coffee and food service to clients and staff
• Manage meeting room setups, presentations and clearing
• Organise catering orders, deliveries and supplier relationships
• Coordinate event requirements, timelines and staffing
• Assist with the training and supervision of casual and outsourced hospitality staff
• Maintain stock, order and invoice kitchen supplies
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and WH&S standards
• Provide occasional reception support

Required profile

• Previous experience in corporate catering, boardroom hospitality or a similar role
• Strong food and beverage service skills, including barista experience
• Experience coordinating meetings, functions or corporate events
• Current RSA and Food Safety certification
• First Aid qualifications and Warden experience highly regarded

What we offer

• $80,000 total remuneration package
• Monday to Friday, with no regular weekend work and a Christmas and New Year shutdown
