Event Coordinator

About the role

The Fresh Collective is seeking a passionate and organised Event Coordinator for its Victorian Events team in a full-time position based in Melbourne, reporting to the Senior Event Manager. You will coordinate premium events across the group's portfolio of iconic venues and offsite events, from enquiry through to completion.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate allocated events from enquiry through to final delivery
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, venue partners and suppliers
• Support client meetings, site inspections and event planning consultations
• Coordinate staffing, equipment hire and event logistics
• Prepare event orders, invoices and client briefs within deadlines
• Liaise with chefs, venue managers and operational teams
• Attend events where required and conduct post-event follow-up and feedback collection
• Maintain client records, tasks and event information in Elite
• Identify referral opportunities and help achieve revenue and profitability targets

Required profile

• Previous experience coordinating events in hospitality, catering or venue operations
• Ability to manage multiple events at once and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Customer-first communication and relationship-building skills
• Commercial awareness and flexibility for site inspections and occasional evening or weekend events

Required skills

• Event management software such as Elite, Priava or Momentus is highly regarded
