Area General Manager - Lancemore Crossley Street & Regional Hotels

About the role

Lancemore Hotels, a family-owned Australian boutique hotel group founded in 1986, is seeking an Area General Manager to lead its Lancemore Crossley Street property in Melbourne and two regional hotels in the Macedon Ranges, about 90 minutes from Melbourne. The role covers portfolio leadership, team development, operations, revenue and guest experience across multiple properties.

Key responsibilities

• Direct oversight of multiple hotel properties within a region
• Motivate and develop high-performing teams, build a talent pipeline and foster a culture of service excellence
• Oversee guest experience, revenue management, sales performance, financial performance and strategic planning
• Ensure each property delivers a consistent Lancemore experience while embracing its unique identity
• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders
• Lead by example to ensure exceptional service and guest satisfaction across all locations

Required profile

• Proven track record in revenue management and driving top-line sales
• Multi-property management experience, including expertise in food and beverage and conferencing markets
• Demonstrated success in cost control, revenue growth and financial performance
• A passion for boutique hospitality and a leadership-first approach to employee engagement, retention, coaching and mentoring
• Valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle to travel between properties
