Casual Merchandiser - Canberra

About the role

Nestlé is hiring a casual Merchandiser based in Canberra to represent its brands in-store across the Grocery channel (Coles, Woolworths and independents). The role is a casual position open to people starting a career in sales or returning to work, with a schedule of Wednesday to Friday (12-15 hours per week) and the option to work extra hours during peak times. Travel is a big part of the job, so an unrestricted driver's licence and your own vehicle are required.

Key responsibilities

• Travel across the Grocery channel and represent Nestlé in-store.
• Build displays, secure space and drive strong in-store execution.
• Partner with Store Managers to influence and deliver strong commercial outcomes.
• Follow a weekly plan, with extra hours available during peak periods.
• Work independently on the road, supported by your Territory Sales Manager.

Required profile

• Experience in a retail or customer-facing environment.
• Valid driver's licence and access to your own vehicle.
• Comfortable lifting, moving and building displays.
• Comfortable using a mobile device to document work and capture display highlights.
• Organised, safety-focused and able to work independently.
• Full Australian working rights; applicants may need to undergo pre-employment checks such as health checks.
