Casual Medical Receptionist – St Leonards Hub

About the role

Naia Health is hiring a casual, on-site Medical Receptionist for its St Leonards Hub in Sydney. This is an ad-hoc, as-needed role of about 1 to 3 working days per month, with extra cover available when requested. Shifts can be arranged in advance for planned leave or at short notice for sick leave and busy clinic days. Full training on systems and clinic processes is provided.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome patients and act as the front-of-house contact on working days
• Process billing and payments, answer phone and email enquiries, and book or reschedule appointments
• Prepare rooms between appointments, help manage appointment flow and keep patient records up to date
• Keep the reception, waiting room and shared spaces tidy and welcoming

Required profile

• Dependable, personable and confident, with a good attitude towards patients and clinicians
• Warm, calm and professional, punctual and reliable
• Flexible schedule, able to assist at short notice and available through mid-December
• Suitable for university students (nursing, allied health, medicine), retirees or anyone seeking casual, supplementary income

Required skills

• Strong communication and basic computer skills
• Confidence to learn new software
• Previous medical reception experience is not essential, as full training is provided

What we offer

• Pay of $32.18 per hour plus superannuation
