Cafe Manager

About the role

NRMA Parks & Resorts is looking for an experienced, hands‑on Cafe Manager to lead day‑to‑day operations of the busy onsite café at South West Rocks Holiday Resort. You will be on the floor during peak periods, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and smooth service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support café operations, delivering outstanding customer service.
• Manage food and beverage budgets, control labour costs and optimise staffing levels.
• Prepare rosters, recruit, train and develop team members.
• Maintain high food safety and hygiene standards, monitor stock, ordering and supplier relationships.
• Drive profitability while maintaining quality and guest satisfaction.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing a café, restaurant or similar hospitality venue.
• Strong leadership and people‑management abilities.
• Experience with budgeting, labour cost control and stock management.
• Customer‑first mindset with excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work weekends, school holidays and peak trading periods.

Required skills

• Current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate or Food Handling Certificate.
• Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate.
• Full Australian working rights.
