Business Partner People and Culture

About the role

The Business Partner – People & Culture will work closely with site leaders to embed HR strategies, provide day‑to‑day guidance on policies and employee relations, and drive practical outcomes that support both operational and strategic priorities. Reporting to the Superintendent – People & Culture, you will help build an engaged, capable workforce while fostering a positive workplace culture.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with leaders to implement People & Culture strategies.
• Advise on performance management and workforce planning.
• Support employee relations and industrial relations matters.
• Contribute to reporting and workforce insights.
• Manage onboarding, employee experience and off‑boarding processes.
• Maintain HR systems and ensure data accuracy.
• Assist with budget and workforce planning activities.
• Drive continuous improvement across HR processes.

Required profile

• Experienced People & Culture professional with strong generalist capability.
• Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related field.
• Experience in a generalist HR or P&C role.
• Exposure to employee relations and enterprise agreements.
• Background in a site‑based or industrial environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to influence and support leaders.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
