Business Manager - Hindmarsh Branch

About the role

Rexel Australia, part of the global Rexel Group, is looking for an experienced, commercially minded Business Manager to lead its flagship Hindmarsh branch. You will take ownership of a well-established business, inspire a high-performing team and drive sustainable growth in a market full of opportunity. The role covers the overall performance of the branch, including customer service, operational excellence and profitable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a diverse team to achieve outstanding results
• Drive branch sales, profitability and customer service performance
• Identify and execute local business development opportunities
• Build strong relationships with key customers, suppliers and stakeholders
• Grow existing accounts, win new business and re-engage inactive customers
• Optimise inventory levels to support customer demand and business performance
• Champion digital solutions and encourage customer adoption
• Maintain a safe workplace and promote a safety-first culture
• Ensure branch operations are compliant, efficient and customer-focused

Required profile

• Demonstrated success in a leadership or branch management role
• Experience managing operational performance and supply chain activities
• Experience within the electrical, industrial, wholesale or trade sectors is highly regarded

• Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills
• A customer-first mindset and strong commercial awareness
