Internal Sales Team Member

About the role

Rexel Electrical Supplies, part of the Rexel Group, is one of the world's leading electrical wholesale and distribution companies, with over 1,900 branches in 17 countries. It is looking for an enthusiastic, customer-focused Internal Sales team member for its Moonah branch. The role supports the branch team by handling customer enquiries, processing orders and keeping day-to-day administration running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding service to customers in person, by phone and by email
• Process sales orders, quotations, invoices, returns and customer enquiries accurately
• Build strong customer relationships by understanding their needs and offering practical solutions
• Follow up quotations, orders and customer requests proactively
• Support branch administration and keep customer records and transactions accurate
• Work with the wider branch team to give a seamless customer experience
• Build knowledge of the products, customers and the electrical industry

Required profile

• Genuine passion for customer service and building lasting relationships
• Strong communication skills and confidence speaking to a diverse range of customers
• Excellent administration skills, attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
• Proactive, reliable and team-oriented approach
• Experience in internal sales, customer service, administration or a trade-related environment is highly regarded
• Electrical wholesale or industry experience is desirable but not essential, as training is provided
