Business Intelligence Analyst

About the role

IMC is seeking an energetic, team‑oriented Business Intelligence Analyst to join the Business Planning & Analysis (BP&A) team. You will work across Trading, Finance, Mid Office and HR to deliver global reporting and analytics, collaborating with colleagues in Sydney, Amsterdam and Chicago.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and automate databases and ETL pipelines (Python, JSON, Qlik).
• Create and sustain BI reports and dashboards using tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, QlikView/Qlik Sense.
• Manage the full data lifecycle from extraction through modelling, visualization and presentation.
• Partner with business units to gather requirements and deliver analytical solutions.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics or a related quantitative field (preferred).
• 3+ years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Interest or exposure to finance processes.

Required skills

• Python (commercial experience, PyCharm preferred).
• SQL.
• BI reporting tools: Tableau, PowerBI, QlikView/Qlik Sense.
• Version control and project tracking: Git, JIRA.
