Business Impact Manager

About the role

The Business Impact Manager will join Oliver Wyman's APR Business Impact Team (BIT) in Sydney, supporting regional practice leaders in financial services. The role focuses on enabling business development, internal management, and the implementation of global and regional best‑practice processes.

Key responsibilities

• Support practice heads with day‑to‑day management, communications, and coordination of internal meetings, off‑sites and partner events.
• Drive commercial effectiveness by collaborating with the Asia BD Manager, analysing pipeline data, managing RFP processes and key client account strategies.
• Implement and monitor regional and global processes, including annual key‑client reviews, partner year‑end procedures and other critical business workflows.
• Coordinate with Finance, Knowledge Management, Talent Analytics and other support functions to produce MIS reports and manage investment budgets.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in consulting or professional services, preferably within financial services.
• Strong stakeholder management, project leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, maintain confidentiality and deliver results under pressure.
• Collaborative, resilient and execution‑focused mindset.
