Business Development Manager – South East Asia

About the role

MST Global, part of the Komatsu Group, is seeking a Business Development Manager to lead growth across South East Asia. You will identify, solution‑sell and close strategic opportunities for our mining technology portfolio, partnering with major mining customers and industry partners from site operations to executive leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Drive new business growth across mining customers throughout South East Asia.
• Build and maintain a high‑quality regional sales pipeline.
• Own the full sales cycle – prospecting, qualification, negotiation and closing.
• Apply advanced consultative and solution‑selling techniques to complex opportunities.
• Develop trusted, long‑term relationships with stakeholders at site, technical, procurement and executive levels.
• Achieve and exceed revenue and margin targets.
• Contribute to tenders, proposals and compelling customer presentations.
• Represent MST at industry events and enhance market presence.
• Maintain strict CRM discipline with accurate reporting and pipeline visibility.

Required profile

• Proven success in B2B solution, strategic and consultative sales.
• Demonstrated experience selling into the South East Asia region.
• Essential experience selling into the mining sector.
• Software or broader technology solutions sales experience preferred.
• Commercially mature “hunter” with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
