About the role

The Business Development Manager will drive sales growth in the mining sector, identify new opportunities and manage key accounts for a company delivering mobile power and communication infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the mining industry.
  • Collaborate with engineering on design direction and new product development.
  • Maintain and grow existing accounts.
  • Provide technical expertise of the product line to customers.
  • Quote and price new equipment.
  • Act as the primary interface between the engineering team and customers.

Required profile

  • 3+ years experience as a Business Development Manager.
  • Previous experience with equipment hire, mining or industrial equipment.
  • Proven track record developing business in the Australian mining sector.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.

Required skills

  • Technical expertise of the product line.
  • Quoting and pricing of equipment.
  • Interface with engineering teams and customers.
