Business Development Associate – Institutional Capital (Real Estate & Infrastructure)

About the role

Join one of Australia's leading real asset managers as a Business Development Associate focused on institutional capital. You will help grow capital across a diversified suite of real estate and infrastructure funds, working closely with investor relations and product teams.

Key responsibilities

• Build and deepen relationships with institutional investors across real estate and infrastructure strategies.
• Support equity raisings, capital formation initiatives and fund distribution.
• Partner with Investor Relations, Product and Funds Management to launch new investment opportunities.
• Drive investor engagement, maintain key relationships and identify cross‑selling opportunities.
• Monitor investor sentiment, competitor activity and market trends, providing insights to the business.
• Assist with fund marketing campaigns, consultant engagement and institutional distribution.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and report on investor activity, pipeline progression and capital‑raising outcomes.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Business, Economics, Finance or a related discipline.
• 2–4 years of experience in investor relations, institutional sales, capital raising, funds management or a broader investment environment.
• Strong commercial acumen with interest in real estate, infrastructure and private‑market investments.
• Highly relationship‑oriented with strong influencing, negotiation and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
