Banking Consultant – Temporary Retail Banking Role

About the role

As a Banking Consultant in ANZ’s Retail Banking division, you will deliver a seamless branch experience, meeting each customer’s end‑to‑end financial needs and guiding them toward digital solutions. You will work primarily in the Malaga branch, acting as a role model and peer coach to ensure high‑quality service and strong customer advocacy.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customers with a seamless branch experience through transactions, needs‑based conversations and digital education.
• Act as a collaborative team member, role model and peer coach to deliver the best possible customer experience.
• Contribute to a significant uplift in customer engagement and advocacy, creating real customer value.
• Participate actively in bank programs and initiatives.
• Take responsibility for ‘know your customer’ from a risk perspective.
• Ensure compliance with ANZ and branch policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Exceptional customer focus, preferably with retail experience.
• Experience using and promoting technology and digital channels.
• Ability to multi‑task and adapt to change and ambiguity.
• Willingness to work in a collaborative team environment.
• Sound understanding of compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
