Banking Consultant – Retail Banking (Mount Barker, SA)

About the role

As a Banking Consultant in ANZ’s Retail Banking division, you will deliver a seamless branch experience, meeting each customer’s end‑to‑end financial needs through transactions, needs‑based conversations and digital education. You’ll work primarily in the Mount Barker branch, acting as a role model and peer coach to ensure customers become strong advocates for ANZ.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customers with a seamless branch experience, handling transactions and advising on digital solutions.
• Act as a collaborative team member and peer coach to deliver the best possible customer experience.
• Drive increased customer engagement and advocacy, creating real value.
• Participate in and support bank programs and initiatives.
• Maintain a thorough “know your customer” approach from a risk perspective.
• Ensure compliance with ANZ and branch policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Exceptional customer focus, with retail experience considered an advantage.
• Experience using and promoting technology and digital channels.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to change and ambiguity.
• Willingness to work in a collaborative team environment.
• Sound understanding of compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
