Banking Consultant – Part‑time Personal Banker

About the role

The Banking Consultant role is based in our Preston branch, delivering a seamless banking experience to customers. You will meet each client’s end‑to‑end financial needs, handle transactions, conduct needs‑based conversations and promote digital solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide a smooth branch experience by processing transactions and advising customers on products and digital channels.
• Engage in needs‑based conversations to understand and fulfil customers’ financial goals.
• Act as a role model and peer coach, supporting team members to deliver high‑quality service.
• Drive customer engagement and advocacy through proactive service.
• Participate in bank programmes and initiatives.
• Maintain “know your customer” standards and manage risk appropriately.
• Ensure compliance with ANZ and branch policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Strong customer focus, preferably with retail banking experience.
• Comfortable using and promoting digital banking channels.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to change.
• Team‑oriented mindset and willingness to coach peers.
• Good understanding of compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
