Banking Consultant – Customer‑Focused Retail Banking

About the role

As a Banking Consultant in ANZ’s Retail Banking division, you will deliver a seamless branch experience, helping customers meet their full range of financial needs. You will combine transaction processing with needs‑based conversations and digital education to build strong, lasting relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Provide end‑to‑end banking services, including transactions, advice and digital solution education.
• Act as a role model and peer coach within a collaborative branch team.
• Drive customer engagement and advocacy, creating real value for clients.
• Participate in bank programs and initiatives to enhance service delivery.
• Maintain a thorough “know your customer” approach from a risk perspective.
• Ensure compliance with ANZ and branch policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Strong customer focus with a retail banking background (advantageous).
• Comfortable using and promoting digital channels and technology.
• Ability to multitask, adapt to change and work in ambiguous situations.
• Willingness to collaborate and support teammates.
