Banking Consultant – Customer Service & Sales (Part‑time)

About the role

The S&S Banking Consultant provides outstanding sales and service to customers through face‑to‑face interactions and inbound/outbound calls, handling everyday banking enquiries, account openings and related processes. The role balances customer satisfaction, risk, and performance while promoting digital banking tools.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver customer‑obsessed service that drives satisfaction and first‑call resolution.
• Provide accurate information on everyday banking enquiries, account openings and processes via phone or online channels.
• Support and educate customers on using digital platforms for personal banking, encouraging self‑service.
• Assist with digital onboarding to ensure a seamless experience for new customers.
• Listen, build trust and ask the right questions to exceed expectations and improve NPS outcomes.
• Contribute to a balanced team culture across people, customer, risk and performance.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, privacy, FSRA and underwriting guidelines.

Required profile

• Experience delivering high‑quality customer experience.
• Comfortable using digital customer‑service platforms in real time.
• Ability to navigate and troubleshoot common digital banking applications and mobile services.
• Understanding of digital verification and ID validation systems used in onboarding.
• Proficiency with digital payment technologies such as mobile wallets and online payments.
• Capability to handle digital banking queries, empowering customers to manage accounts online.
