Assistant Store Manager

About the role

Bailey Nelson is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for its Southland store in Cheltenham. You will support the Store Manager and Optometrist to ensure a seamless customer journey from eye test to frame selection and dispensing, while leading the team on designated days.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager and Optometrist in delivering a smooth customer experience from eye test through to product dispense.
• Take ownership of the store two days per week, leading the team, driving performance and managing the appointment book.
• Coach and develop team members to consistently deliver great service.

Required profile

• Alignment with Bailey Nelson values: tight‑knit, down‑to‑earth and constantly improving.
• Retail or optics experience at a supervisor or management level.
• Confident leader who enjoys developing others and achieving sales targets.
• Available to work full‑time on a Sunday‑to‑Thursday roster.
