Assistant Manager – Business & Private Banking

About the role

As an Assistant Manager in ANZ’s Business & Private Bank, you will support the delivery of strategic and operational priorities across commercial and private banking segments. You will work closely with Relationship Managers to enhance business performance for both corporate and high‑net‑worth clients.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Relationship Managers in providing banking solutions and insights to customers.
• Conduct financial analysis and develop tailored customer strategies.
• Support strategic initiatives, governance and decision‑making processes.
• Maintain a professional market profile and stay informed on industry trends.
• Collaborate with internal functions and stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.

Required profile

• Strong problem‑solving ability and capacity to analyse large spreadsheet data sets.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple fast‑moving initiatives.
• High energy, self‑motivated and curious mindset.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience in agribusiness or banking is desirable.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel for data analysis.
