Assistant Manager – Business Banking

About the role

The Assistant Manager will support Relationship Bankers in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving revenue growth for small to medium enterprise clients. Working within the Business & Private Bank division, you will analyse financial information, recommend credit strategies and help manage a portfolio of commercial customers.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse financial statements and lending transactions to inform credit decisions.
• Build strong relationships by understanding each client’s business and financial needs.
• Provide tailored solutions for account maintenance and evolving customer requirements.
• Maintain a well‑structured portfolio in line with policies and procedures.
• Ensure smooth workflow across compliance and customer fulfilment processes.
• Collaborate with product partners and internal stakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes.

Required profile

• Strong financial literacy, analytical ability and commercial acumen.
• Experience assessing financial trends and their business implications.
• Proven track record of developing customer relationships in a service‑oriented role.
• Understanding of security arrangement structuring.
• Banking industry experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Preferably holds an accounting qualification.
