About the role

The Assistant Manager at Discovery Parks Ballina will support the park’s daily operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while contributing to the overall success of Australia’s leading regional travel company.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily operations and respond to after‑hours callouts.
• Oversee guest check‑ins, reservations, and account management.
• Assist with budgeting, revenue maximisation and financial reporting.
• Deliver top‑tier guest service and resolve issues promptly.
• Inspire, train and support the team, fostering a high‑performing environment.
• Contribute to marketing initiatives aimed at attracting new guests.

Required profile

• Proven experience in hospitality or accommodation management.
• Strong people‑leadership abilities with a focus on training and development.
• Solid financial management and budget oversight experience.
• Flexibility to work weekends and after‑hours shifts.

Required skills

• Experience with RMS or similar reservation management systems.
