Architect – Retail & Commercial Projects

About the role

We are seeking a technically talented Architect or Building Designer to join our Brisbane team. You will work on retail and commercial projects, handling everything from town planning to full architectural documentation while collaborating with internal and external clients across Australia and New Zealand.

Key responsibilities

• Develop architectural documentation from concept through construction phases.
• Conduct site surveys, measurements, and ensure compliance with the Building Code of Australia.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Mentor junior staff and share knowledge within the team.
• Organise, prioritize, and manage workload to meet project deadlines.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of experience on retail and commercial projects.
• Strong understanding of commercial construction and the BCA.
• Positive attitude, good teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Relevant degree or qualification and a current driver’s licence.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Competent use of Microsoft Word.
• Competent use of Microsoft Excel.
