Analytics & Reporting Team Leader

About the role

Lead and develop a team of three analysts within Corrs Chambers Westgarth, delivering financial insights and supporting commercial decision‑making across the firm.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a high‑performing team of analysts.
• Coordinate workflow, manage priorities and ensure timely delivery of reporting and analysis.
• Produce financial modelling, commercial analysis and performance trend reports for legal practice groups.
• Oversee recurring and ad‑hoc reporting on matter and practice performance.
• Partner with Commercial Managers, FP&A, Business Development and Legal Project Management to provide actionable insights.
• Identify and implement improvements through automation and approved AI tools.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in commerce, business or related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience leading, coaching and developing people.
• Strong financial and analytical judgement with ability to challenge outputs.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented and able to manage competing priorities.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel capability.
• Experience working with financial systems and data.
• SQL or data‑modelling experience (desirable).
