Analyst, Treasury Settlements (12‑month contract)

About the role

Join Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG) as a Treasury Settlements Analyst on a 12‑month contract, supporting money market, FX and derivative transactions for corporate and interbank clients.

Key responsibilities

• Enter Treasury transactions into internal and external systems, including Money Market, FX and Derivatives items.
• Sort, distribute and confirm maturing corporate deals, handling SWIFT confirmations (MT320/MT399).
• Authorise STP deals, book transfers, release payment orders and prepare customer notices.
• Reconcile funds, investigate unallocated items and ensure timely settlement via Austraclear, RITS and NZClear.
• Maintain daily/monthly operational reports, end‑of‑day balancing and compliance with risk and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of Treasury Operations or similar banking experience.
• Strong attention to detail with high accuracy in transaction processing.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to fast‑paced, changing business requirements.
• Proactive team player with a risk‑and‑control mindset.
