Accounts Receivable Officer – Fixed Term

About the role

Hunter Douglas is seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Accounts Receivable Officer to join its finance team on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. The role will manage end‑to‑end receivables, support cash‑flow management and work closely with customers and internal teams to resolve payment and claim issues.

Key responsibilities

• Allocate daily customer payments accurately and promptly.
• Monitor aged receivables, follow up overdue accounts and support collections.
• Process credit applications and maintain customer credit records.
• Investigate and resolve customer claims, including pricing, returns and delivery issues.
• Prepare and distribute customer statements, perform AR reconciliations and support month‑end close activities.
• Assist with credit control, risk escalation and audit documentation.

Required profile

• Strong problem‑solving ability with ownership of issues.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Understanding of operational and goods‑flow processes in manufacturing or FMCG environments.
