Accounts Receivable Officer – 6‑month Fixed‑Term Contract

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join our collaborative finance team on the Northern Beaches. This 6‑month fixed‑term contract offers the chance to own the full AR process, support cash flow and may lead to a permanent position.

Key responsibilities

• Raise and issue invoices (manual and system‑generated).
• Receipt and allocation of incoming payments.
• Manage collections and follow up on outstanding accounts.
• Reconcile customer accounts and investigate discrepancies.
• Respond to customer queries promptly and professionally.
• Assist with reporting and maintain accurate financial records.
• Support the broader finance team as needed.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a full‑function Accounts Receivable role.
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Confident communicator with relationship‑building skills.
• Excellent time‑management and ability to handle competing priorities.
• Strong numeracy and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Intermediate to advanced Excel.
• Experience with finance systems.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms.
