Accountant – Sunny Queensland

About the role

We are seeking an Accountant to join our manufacturing site in Sarina, Queensland. The role supports financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and commercial finance activities, contributing directly to operational performance and the growth of our renewable‑energy business.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare month‑end journal entries, reconciliations and financial reports.
• Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts and variance analyses.
• Provide pricing support, excise reporting and commercial finance assistance.
• Manage accounts receivable and support cost analysis and operational reporting.
• Prepare audit and reporting packs.
• Drive process improvements and strengthen financial controls.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce; CPA/CA/CIMA qualification or study preferred.
• Experience in reporting, budgeting or commercial finance within manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Strong communication skills and ability to partner with operations and senior stakeholders.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Experience with SAP (or similar ERP) preferred.
