Account Manager – 4WD & Transmission

About the role

The Account Manager (internally known as Customer Development Manager) will report to a Channel Manager and work closely with NAPA Branch Managers to build strong business relationships with trade customers in the Dandenong territory. The role focuses on sales, problem‑solving and delivering gross‑margin performance.

Key responsibilities

• Consult with customers to understand needs and provide solutions.
• Own sales and gross‑margin performance for the assigned territory.
• Attend sales meetings, trade shows and training sessions.
• Achieve sales budgets and develop new business opportunities.
• Promote a safety‑first culture, including safe driving and safe handling of equipment.

Required profile

• Strong communicator with solid negotiation skills.
• Solution‑oriented and service focused.
• Proven track record in account management or business development, preferably in the automotive sector.
• Thrives in a KPI‑driven environment.
• Experience using CRM systems and a valid Australian driver’s licence.
• Passion for automotive products.
