Business Development Manager

About the role

This is a true hunter position focused on expanding Motion's footprint across Victoria, strengthening customer partnerships, and driving sustainable revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic sales plan for your territory.
• Prospect and secure new business opportunities while building a strong, sustainable sales pipeline.
• Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and strengthen relationships across industrial sectors.
• Collaborate with internal Sales Representatives, Account Managers and branch staff to maximise opportunities and ensure premium customer service.
• Contribute to sales planning, forecasting and business strategy.

Required profile

• Proven experience in solution selling within the sealing industry (mechanical seals, gaskets, sealing solutions).
• Demonstrated success in new business development and pipeline generation.
• Strong negotiation, influencing and strategic sales planning skills.
• Willingness to travel and ability to identify and convert growth opportunities within existing accounts.
• High energy, resilience and a results‑driven mindset.
