Account Executive, SMB

About the role

The SMB Account Executive will join Sitemate’s SMB team, owning inbound‑qualified opportunities from first engagement through to close. You will drive momentum across high‑intent and lower‑intent inbound leads with structured discovery, tailored demos and consistent deal progression, and retain ownership of each new customer for six months to identify cross‑sell and expansion opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Run multiple sales cycles simultaneously, handling discovery calls, live demos, follow‑up conversations and commercial negotiations.
• Maintain daily pipeline hygiene in Salesforce, updating stages, logging next steps and forecasting accurately.
• Collaborate with SDRs, SMB CSMs and AMs to ensure smooth handovers and early identification of cross‑sell or license expansion.
• Own quota and pacing, planning weeks around pipeline coverage and consistently driving toward monthly targets.
• Prioritise accounts, balancing medium‑term expansion plays with short‑term commercial activities.

• Proactive operator comfortable managing multiple deal cycles and creating momentum with busy operational stakeholders.
• Strong collaborator who works well with CSMs and cross‑functional teams while owning revenue results.
