Account Executive

About the role

We are seeking a talented Account Executive to join our Risk Management team at Marsh Australia, based in our Melbourne office. This full‑time hybrid role requires at least three days per week on‑site and focuses on driving growth, profitability, and client satisfaction for a portfolio of priority accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage risk management and insurance programmes tailored to client needs.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key client decision‑makers through regular communication and meetings.
• Expand and retain a high‑value portfolio to achieve team objectives.
• Oversee risk and insurance programme renewals, ensuring comprehensive knowledge of major insurance categories and relevant regulations.
• Engage in industry events and client functions to build a robust professional network and represent Marsh effectively.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in insurance broking with a developing understanding of business and organisational risk management.
• Proven track record of managing client accounts and client engagement.
• Exceptional communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.
• Tier 1 FSRA compliance; ANZIIF membership and tertiary qualification are beneficial but not mandatory.
