Account Executive

About the role

Join Marsh Australia's Risk Management team as an Account Executive based in Melbourne. This full‑time hybrid role requires at least three days per week in the office and focuses on growing and servicing a portfolio of high‑value priority accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and manage tailored risk management and insurance programmes for clients.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key client decision‑makers through regular communication and meetings.
• Expand and retain a high‑value portfolio to meet team growth and profitability targets.
• Oversee risk and insurance programme renewals, staying current on major insurance categories and regulations.
• Represent Marsh at industry events and client functions to grow professional networks.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in insurance broking with a developing understanding of business and organisational risk management.
• Proven track record of managing client accounts and delivering strong client engagement.
• Exceptional communication, influencing and negotiation abilities.
• Tier 1 FSRA compliance; ANZIIF membership or tertiary qualification is beneficial but not mandatory.

Required skills

• Knowledge of major insurance categories and relevant regulatory frameworks.
• Ability to craft and execute strategic action plans for client risk solutions.
